Sports & Deep Tissue

Deep tissue and sports massages are designed to focus on problem areas at a deep level. You will experience increased mobility, increased blood flow, and a supportive healing to problem areas.

Therapeutic

Therapeutic massages, also known as medical massages, involve more focused work on the body’s soft tissue - the muscles, tendons, and ligaments that support and move your body!

Cupping & Detox

Cupping therapy is a traditional Chinese healing technique that involves placing specially designed cups on the skin to create suction. This gentle suction helps to promote blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and promote relaxation.

Katie Milkovich, LMT (she/her)

OR License #27093

Katie was born and raised in a small town in Ohio. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. After graduating college, Katie joined the Peace Corps as a Community Health volunteer, living and working in rural Paraguay. After returning from the Peace Corps, Katie moved to the Big Island of Hawai’i to work in the mental health field. That is where Katie’s passion for the mind-body connection started. Katie’s love for the outdoors brought her to Bend in 2018 and she has been living here ever since.

Eventually, Katie’s passion for the human body and it’s ability to heal it’s self inspired her to pursue a degree in massage therapy through Central Oregon Community College.

Katie opened Equilibrium Massage & Bodywork in August of 2023 eager to assist people in their healing journey - whether it’s recovering from an injury, wanting to relax and unwind, or decrease muscle soreness from sports and exercise.

“Katie made me feel comfortable with her calm demeanor and questions about my needs. She introduced me to new/old techniques like cupping. She gave me a great overall body massage while still tackling my toughest problem, that being my neck.”
